Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur:

• B.Sc. í tölvunarfræði, kerfisstjórnun, Linux eða sambærilegt nám - eða sambærileg reynsla
• Vinnur vel sjálfstætt og í teymi
• Sýnir frumkvæði, fagmennsku og metnað
• Hefur góða samskiptahæfni og þægilega framkomu
• Stuðlar að uppbyggilegri menningu og tekur þátt í að skapa sterka liðsheild

• Kerfisstjórnun og vöktun, innleiðing og uppsetning nýrra kerfa og lausna
• Daglegur rekstur upplýsingatæknikerfa
• Þróun og viðhald lausna Isavia ANS

Isavia ANS is seeking an ambitious Systems Administrator who wants to take part in the operation and development of air navigation systems and other mission-critical systems supporting air traffic control — 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

At Isavia ANS, you will become part of a dedicated team responsible for developing, operating, and maintaining software and systems for air traffic control. The role is diverse and challenging, requiring strong organizational skills, accountability, and the ability to perform under pressure.

The position includes both regular day shifts and on-call duties.

Education and Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Systems Administration, Linux, or a related field – or equivalent experience
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Demonstrates initiative, professionalism, and ambition
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
• Contributes to a positive workplace culture and strong team spirit

Key Responsibilities

• System administration and monitoring, implementation and deployment of new systems and solutions
• Daily operation of IT systems
• Development and maintenance of Isavia ANS solutions
